Trio of shows pickup Macaulay Culkin, Nathan Lane, Dan Byrd--but who is going where?
24. 10. 2008
The guest stars are coming out! NBC's Heroes has scooped up one of television's big up-and-comers, the upcoming Kings has revived a former child actor for a multi-episode arc, and Fox's 'Til Death has tapped Broadway for one of its best, according to EW.com.
Heroes is hoping a former television nerd can save its day from struggling ratings, and has booked former Aliens in America star (and TV.com favorite) Dan Byrd for at least three episodes of Volume 4: Fugitives. Byrd, who played Justin Tolchuck on the canceled waaaaay too early Aliens, will play David, a youngster with a penchant for lying who may end up paling around with Sylar. Byrd recently guest-starred on ABC Family's Greek.
Speaking of troublemaking youngsters, or at least former, Home Alone's Macaulay Culkin will appear in NBC's upcoming Kings, which looks like the best new show to come to television in a long time (or it could be that everything else looks like crap). Culkin will play the nephew of King Silas (Ian McShane) in this modern-day retelling of the story of David and Goliath.
Finally, actor Nathan Lane, last seen in the limelight in Broadway's The Producers, will join 'Til Death. In a huge stretch, Lane will play the gay brother of Brad Garrett's character on the November 18 episode.
