Robert Forster

Biografie




Robert Forster (* 13. Juli 1941 als Robert Foster in Rochester, New York) ist ein US-amerikanischer Filmschauspieler.

Forster gilt in Hollywood als klassischer Charakterdarsteller. So war er unter anderem als Captain im Science Fiction-Film „Das schwarze Loch“ (1979) zu sehen; für seine Rolle als Kautionshändler in dem Quentin Tarantino Film „Jackie Brown“ (1997) wurde er 1998 für einen Oscar als bester Nebendarsteller nominiert. Robert Forster wirkte auch in zwei Remakes von Hitchcock-Klassikern mit: 1998 spielte er im Remake von Hitchcocks „Das Fenster zum Hof“ einen Detektiv, im „Psycho“-Remake, das ebenfalls 1998 entstand, einen Psychiater.
